1968

Alan Fischer directs Ambrosio’s adaptation of M. G. Lewis’s Gothic novel The Monk. The film stars a nebulous Marissa Marcel as the infamous Matilda.

1970

John Durick wrote Minsky, his film with Marcel in mind. The story takes place at New York City and concerns the murder of an artist. Marissa plays the role of the victimized muse.

1999

Marcel and Durick join forces again to celebrate Marcel’s final performance after a long hiatus. The film Two of Everything is a subversive film that examines the dual nature of a successful pop star and her body second.
